Gather necessary ingredients and equipment
Gather organic soap base, essential oils, natural colorants, and any additional ingredients such as dried herbs or exfoliants. Also, prepare a double boiler, molds, a stirring utensil, and a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol.
Melt the soap base
Using a double boiler, melt the organic soap base over low heat, stirring occasionally until it becomes a smooth liquid.
Add essential oils and other desired ingredients
Once the soap base is melted, remove it from heat and stir in essential oils and any other desired ingredients such as natural colorants or exfoliants.
Pour the mixture into molds and let it set
Pour the mixture into molds and lightly spray the surface with rubbing alcohol to remove any air bubbles. Allow the soap to cool and harden for several hours or overnight.
Unmold and store the homemade soap
Once the soap has set, gently remove it from the molds and allow it to cure for a few weeks before use. Store the homemade organic soap in a cool, dry place to prolong its shelf life.
